My website has now been online for over three years. I had been persuaded by my friends to set up the website for making all my articles available at one place. Since that time two volumes of my articles have also been published by Gulshan Publishers, Srinagar under the same title (Kashmir First). The website contains over 200 articles on diverse subjects under different headings. These articles have been published in Khaleej Times, Greater Kashmir, Rising Kashmir, Kashmir Times, and Early Times. These are also available on many websites. There are articles on Politics, History, Tourism, Adventure, and some general subjects like environment, travel, economy etc. under the category, “Other”. The aim is to acquaint Kashmiris living all over the world as well as others about different aspects of Kashmir, past, present, and future. The website has a provision for “Guest Articles”. People are welcome to send their articles on relevant subjects for being put on the website. The comments of viewers are also welcome and are uploaded under “Reflections” as and when received. There is a “Photo Gallery” containing some pictures of Kashmir. Some important happenings are put under the “Weekly Round up” which is updated every week. Even though the website is covered by relevant copy right laws, viewers are welcome to reproduce the content without editing or distortion for greater dissemination.
